Researching your roots – give it a try!

Where did your great-grandmother come from? Curious?
- In our special computerized IT-corner you will find highly-experienced genealogists who can help you find information you are seeking. They can assist you to find the right CD, database or even the right parish record (now available on-line).
- Just bring the information you might have, i.e. name, date of birth, place of birth etc, as the more information you can provide the easier it will be to find your relatives.
- Come and talk to genealogists who specialize in the area of Sweden that your ancestors came from. They know the people, the area, the customs, the language and many other interesting things. And who knows, you may discover that the person speaking to you is your distant cousin!

Exhibition with a theme – ”The Treaty of Roskilde 1658”

This is an exhibition showing historical events that are linked to the Treaty of Roskilde in 1658. It will illustrate the war between Sweden and Denmark - the different peace treaties, the process making Scania and the Scanians Swedish, and the actual effect this had on the population of Scania and the island of Själland.

Exhibitors

Societies, associations, institutions and businesses will be present with interesting show cases demonstrating their genealogical products or their sphere of activities. There will be books, CDs, databases, genealogical software and much more for sale. Look for special fair offers.

Speakers Corner

A separate open space at the fair for shorter presentations. Exhibitors may, for example, present their products or activities.
