The Swedish Genealogy days 2008 - Schedule |
|
If you are the slightest bit curious when it comes to your roots why not
try genealogy. Why not meet with experienced genealogists from all
over Scandinavia. Exchange tips, ancestors, ask a question you
always wanted an answer to. Or try some of the digital tools now
available for genealogy. Then visit the annual genealogical days
2008 in Malmö City.
Come and listen to a variety of interesting lectures. Visit the fair
and showcases. Talk to exhibitors or just stroll around the
fair, picking up on how your ancestors lived back then, learn about
the facts on why Scania became Swedish and how it affected the
ordinary family and even the Kings in the two countries. Get to
understand the consequence of the Roskilde Treaty, learn about the
“snapphanarna” (kind of an early guerilla group) and a lot more.
