The Conference dinner on Friday
evening will be held in the beautiful Hall of Knut (Knutssalen). An
exceptional opportunity to enter a historic environment not open to
the public. The Malmö city council opens up the old town hall to
honor the Genealogical days 2008 as they feel strongly that that
Malmö City will benefit from the days.
|
The old town hall was first
mentioned in 1353. The present building was built in the
1540th and many important events has taken place there.
It was in the old town hall
the new Swedes, after the peace at Roskilde in 1658 swore
the oath of honor and loyalty to the Kingdom of Sweden even
though it took place in front of an empty throne....
So don’t miss out on an
exceptional experience on a historic site in connection to
the Genealogical days Theme of the year “The peace at
Roskilde 1658”. |

Apart from these persons, the Board of the Federation participates,
as well as members of the group arranging the event, i.e the Malmö

family members or close friends to the above participants.
If there is room also other interested

we are in the Knutssalen, giving us the opportunity to offer
approximately 75 tickets to this latter group. If needed, we will
issue a waiting list.
